 Spring Kewpies in a Nest

In celebration of the coming Spring, we will play with vintage carnival kewpie dolls (circa 1940s) and pastel gassamer boxes to create a flying kewpie ready to spring from their nests.

Altered Hangers - Sweet and Sassy!

We will work with wooden clothes hangers to create a special hanger that is embellished with images, fibers, and ribbon.  Your finished hanger can be used to hold a favorite piece of clothing, be attached to a piece of art, or displayed as is, a piece of artwork in its own right.

Class size is limited to six participants.  Please sign up early, and confirm your spot by paying for your class.

REGISTRATION AND FEES

To register for classes, you may sign up online, here ~ or you may register in person at Poetry on Canvas, located at  on the second floor of 55 West Angela Street, # 205, between Main and First, in downtown Pleasanton.

It is not necessary to be a ZNE Member to take a class, however, Registered ZNE (and PCM) Members receive a 10% discount on the per-class fee.  (ZNE Members pay $36 instead of $40).

Payments may be made, as follows:

Preferred:  PayPal  ($40.00 for non ZNE Members ~ $36.00 for members) You will be directed to the PayPal payment page after you fill out the registration form, below.

Cash, Check and Charge: In person at Poetry on Canvas - located at  on the second floor of 55 West Angela Street, # 205, between Main and First, in downtown Pleasanton.

REFUNDS:

Because of the small class size, there are no refunds for missed classes. However - if you provide a minimum of one week's notice that you will be unable to attend class, we will extend a class pass to use in a future open class.

CLASS DETAILS:

Please be in attendance and ready to begin promptly at 6:00 p.m.

Please wear comfortable clothing and understand that it may end up covered in paint splatters, glitter or glue drops!  If you have an apron you would like to bring to class, please do so.

We will provide lots of snacks / refreshments in lieu of a meal, however - if you have a preference for a particular item, or drink - please feel free to bring it  with you. 

All supplies are provided, however if you have a favorite glue, pair of scissors, or other art supplies that you like to work with - please bring them with you.  I encourage participants to bring special embellishments with them to work with, if they feel that it might make a finished piece more special or sentimental.
