Pam Carriker is a new Supporting Member of ZNE, she joined the group in March of 2007. Pam loves to find alternate uses for things, hence her passion for altered art! She loves to take something old that no one wants anymore and give it new life.
Pam teaches art at a private school and enjoys instilling a love for art in the children she works with. Her pilot husband, two teenage sons, and five year old wannabe pilot, leave leave Pam as the only female in her household. (A fact that she says, the boys tolerate quite well. Ha!) Besides art, Pam loves gardening and has recently added a fish pond to her backyard.
Along with teaching art, Pam has been scrapbooking for the past 20+ years, both teaching workshops and on her own. She has experience selling artwork in craft malls, online, and through word of mouth. This is Pam's first time on a design team, and she says she's estatic about the opportunity! She has decided not to teach next year, so that she can focus exclusively on her own art.
